Firstly we were saddened to learn of a serious accident on the Naivasha - Nairobi highway a few days ago. 40+ people lost their lives. We assure those affected and the country of Kenya of our prayers for their people in these days. We have travelled that road on more than one occasion and we just pause to thank God for His protecting hand upon us. But not all loss becomes worldwide news. We have also been made aware of a family in Nairobi who have lost a wife and mother. A dear young man and his two little children have had their home changed forever. Little children who cry for their mother but she doesn't come and a father who somehow needs to provide them with security in the midst of such loss and uncertainty. Please pray for this little family.
Over the past few days we have been looking back in many ways. As we have written our prayer letter we have reflected on the past year and God's many blessings....it started with uncertainty but has really ended on a high point as far as the ministry is concerned. As we think about this 10th Anniversary year coming to a close we have been remembering how God has led us since the work began in 2006 and indeed how He led even over the previous years to bring us to that point. We have thought of those who prayed for us then and who still pray for us now. We have talked of those who were once supportive of us, but their focus has now changed. We have shared memories of those who are no longer with us; yet again, more names to come off our mailing list before sending out this next prayer letter. On a personal note, my nephew and I found ourselves looking back through old photos and videos clips yesterday. We had so many laughs as we looked at him and his brother getting up to their antics; only a few years ago, but how much they've grown. Sadness too as we saw dad in those clips, but thankful for the time the boys had with him. I suppose most people find themselves looking back as a year draws to a close. However, it is also a time to look forward. William and I are excited for what God has in store for the incoming year and for the future of the work we are involved in for the Lord. We are looking forward to continuing to serve our Saviour. We are conscious of His leading in our lives and in our ministry. We have had big decisions to make in the past months and no doubt there will be more in the months to come, but we are so glad that we have a Heavenly Father who speaks and shows us His will for our lives. Our desire is to continue to serve the one who died for us. William and I would like to personally thank those of you who have faithfully stood by us; in the ministry and as friends. We appreciate this so much. As we step out into another year, we are thankful that we can trust a never failing God. I know I speak for everyone in Feed my Lambs when I take this opportunity to thank you for your prayers for them and for the work over this past year. I know I speak again for Joyce and her family when I thank you for your prayers for little Joseph when he was so sick earlier this year. Thank you also from Eunice for your prayers for her. For the children and those who teach them....they all appreciate your prayers. Over the Christmas period there will still be those who are using our materials....pray for them. We are thankful to them for enrolling and supporting FML in this way. Our Nairobi office is already closed for the holidays. Joyce will still be busy this incoming week visiting centres. William and myself still have a meeting to take; a prayer letter to finish, print and post and some other administration which needs completed, all this side of Christmas. Please pray for us all in our various roles. As far as this blog is concerned, we are taking a break until the New Year. So, it just remains for us to say that we wish you and your family and congregations a very Happy Christmas and a Blessed New Year from all in Feed my Lambs. May you continue to know much of the Lord's blessing in these days.

God has been working over these past few weeks and we thank Him for all that has been accomplished.
It was so encouraging to be able to send a quantity of lessons, application forms and certificates from Nairobi to Malaba. Joyce was pleased to receive the items and it will make her work easier in the immediate future. It was a tiring day for Eunice as she made arrangements to transport them. Firstly, having to bring all of the boxes to the bus station. We are also thankful to a dear friend (a local Pastor's wife) who helped in the task. God has been providing in amazing ways over these past few weeks and sending the items to Joyce has been just one of the projects accomplished as a result. We are rejoicing and giving thanks to God and look forward to sharing more news with you in our next prayer letter. The clothes collection was also very good this time round. One of our biggest collections to date. We thank God for the funds provided for the work in this way and thank all of those who contributed by donating clothes. The amount raised on this occasion was £440. Thank you to all who played a part. It is wonderful to know that people will benefit from these funds but also local people in Africa will benefit from being able to re-use the curtains etc. and wear the clothes provided. Of course, we have learnt over the years that when God is working and we can see Him blessing and things moving on....it is certain that the devil will also increase his efforts. So it is no surprise to us that we have faced a few challenges in recent days in regard to personnel and those who assist us. We realise yet again that there are those who try to make mischief and hinder the work in Kenya. Sometimes such people are from UK and sometimes from Africa. There was a time when these things flustered us and we could panic and stress about what to do. Now, after many years of challenges we have learnt to rest upon God and to know that all things work for good. We have learnt to take these challenges one day at a time. Indeed, we have learnt from a friend to view them as challenges and not problems. We can look back on past years and remember how God worked everything out and always for the better. We know He will do this again. We are praying for guidance and for wisdom and ask you to pray with us in this regard. Pray that we will be very clear as to who genuienly is called to the work and who genuienly wishes to be a part of this ministry. Pray that those who try to make trouble will be stopped in their tracks. We have so much to Praise and thank God for. We have been knowing His leading. Plans for the future; both personally and in the work; have been falling into place. Circumstances have encouraged us and we have been left amazed at how God is working in ways which some people may call coincidence, but in which we see God's hand. We know that He is faithful and we look to Him for the days to come. Pray for the children who have been receiving lessons. Pray for those who have recently enquired about enrolling children on our programme. This has included a centre that works with children who are deaf. What an amazing opportunity to bring the Gospel to these young people. Pray for guidance regarding volunteers and those who can assist in the work. Pray for continued progress with the charity registration. Following our application we have been advised on some changes which are needed to our constitution; please pray for this ongoing process. For those of you who attended our 10th Anniversary service; you will have heard Joyce speak of how children have been saved through our Bible Lessons. This has included street boys and muslim children. Pray for these boys and girls; that their relationship with God will continue to strengthen and that they will be mighty warriors for their Lord and Saviour. Finally, we want to let you know that our Nairobi office has now closed for the holidays. Details of how to make contact with us can be found on the home page of this site. Thank you for your ongoing prayers. We appreciate your ongoing support so much. Please continue to pray for Joyce and Eunice as they continue to labour for the Lord in Africa. Without them there would be no ministry. We are also grateful to others who partner with us in various ways to make sure the Gospel goes out to the boys and girls. Our team on the field are invaluable to the work. Pastors and Children's workers distribute and mark lessons and without them many children would not hear the Word of God and their need of a Saviour.
This week we have been working closely with a good friend in Nairobi who has been doing some printing for us. Design and colours is not something I find easy and I am very indecisive! William on the other hand can look at something and instantly know what layout and colour scheme will work. We thank God for the hard work of our friend who has printed Treasure Seeker Application forms and certificates and also a map showing the location of our Nairobi office and the best route to take to get there. This friend owns a cyber in Kawangware. We would definitely recommend his services. Please contact us for his details if you need printing or similar work completed in Kenya. If you are a children's worker in Kenya and are interested in training in Child Evangelism, you may be able to help us with more information regarding some plans we are making. In order to gain information about what people on the ground require in regards to training and to try and accommodate as many people as possible; we have put together an online survey to gauge interest and opinions. Please email us if you would like more information or to complete the survey. Currently, this is applicable to Kenyan residents only. Here in Northern Ireland, we have booked in another clothes collection for 30th November. If you have any shoes, clothes, bags, belts, bedding, curtains etc. which you no longer need or want, we would appreciate receiving these. They can be for adults or children; can be new or used; and will be reused in Africa. Please contact us for further details or to arrange a drop off or collection. We appreciate your support in these very practical ways. Most of all we appreciate your ongoing prayer support. Prayer IS the work. We thank God for His continued help to Joyce and Eunice as they serve the Lord in Africa. Eunice has been distributing some Bibles which we give God thanks for. Joyce visited a school on Saturday and we Praise God for the encouraging time she had.
We have also appreciated your prayers over the weekend. On Friday evening we returned to share at a "Fold". We are usually here each year and thank God for those who join in the community room to learn more of God's work. This little group have been a real encouragement to us over the years and we thank God for them. We knew they were really concentrating and had a genuine interest in the ministry as we shared about our mission trip in July and also about some new opportunities. Saturday, Sunday and Monday we enjoyed representing Feed my Lambs with the stand at a missionary convention in Belfast. It was a real blessing to be able to share about the work and 9 new names were added to our mailing list which is particularly encouraging. We also had been asked to share with the Sunday School and Bible Class on Sunday afternoon. Over 40 children and young people gathered along with their teachers and we had a special time sharing about some of those we work amongst in Africa. They were sent on their way with worksheet and were encouraged to visit the Just for Kids section of our website. Please continue to pray on for those in Africa who are also seeking to reach out to the local children. Today and tomorrow I plan to mark some more assignments from children's workers who are taking our online child protection course and am thankful for another new student; a Sunday School teacher; who has just enrolled. Am hoping to set up his private study page here on our website today. This allows students to log in and complete their assignments. We thank God that technology; when used correctly; can really help to forward the work of God. Please continue to pray for us as we meet to finalise some decisions this evening regarding the implementation of new ministries. We also need wisdom in prioritising the needs and distribution of funds. Thank God for His goodness to us in these days. Pray on that He will continue to lead and guide. It is now one week since our 10th Anniversary Service. We are so thankful to God for His help. We really knew the Lord's presence with us before, during and after the meeting and we are humbled by how He blessed the meeting.
We thank God for those who came along and for those who faithfully pray for the work. We are encouraged and excited for the days ahead and look forward to issuing a prayer letter in the coming weeks with more news and updates. Please do pray on for Joyce, Eunice and other volunteers in Kenya and Uganda. William and I also appreciate your prayers for more meetings over the weekend and early part of the week. We were saddened this week to attend the funeral of someone who was a dear friend to William. A few months ago William had the privilege of spending a day with this servant of God...just the two of them. I remember how William came home full of joy having spent that day with him. They had talked much about the work of Feed my Lambs, about Churches, about the Bible and most importantly about the Lord. It was an encouraging day for William. He also was a faithful prayer partner of Feed my Lambs and someone who we know remembered us before the Lord and told others about the ministry. He has gone to his reward. The challenge is there for others to pray. We have commented again this week, how, almost every time we issue a prayer letter, another name has to be removed from the list because they have passed away. I wonder will you stand in the gap and continuing praying where others have left off? Another week and your prayers have been much appreciated.
Eunice was able to forward us up to date information regarding Bibles. We now have total numbers needed for distribution over the coming months. We will explain more in the coming weeks. The good news is that she is now ready to distribute just over 300 Bibles. These have already been allocated. If your group is amongst those who will receive from this batch, Eunice will be in contact with you. Joyce has continued with the work, but still has been unable to travel to the centres as hoped as funds still have not come in for this need. Please pray that this will be possible before the end of the month. Please also consider giving to Feed my Lambs on a regular monthly basis. Little and often can really help. William and I have really appreciated your prayers for us over this past week. We are tired now as there has been so much on and we have a full programme for another few weeks. However, we are excited and enjoying serving God. This past week we made a lot of progress in planning and making final decisions for the anniversary service. Most invitations have been posted with only a few more to be sent out tomorrow God willing. We will work some more on the presentation tomorrow during the day and again in the evening as we work alongside someone else and hopefully that will be it complete. We will then be working on the Orders of Service and some other issues for the meeting. On Friday evening we really enjoyed sharing in a local children's meeting. This involved a lot of preparation and we certainly felt the pressure as we got ready; but we enjoyed our time with the children so much and the leaders really got involved and showed a genuine interest in the work. We thank God for this great encouragement. On Saturday we took a train to meet up with a contact we had made. We found ourselves praying and having discussions with a Ugandan, a Nigerian, a Zambian, a Syrian and two people from here in Northern Ireland. It is amazing how being saved creates a bond between people from all over the world. We were really encouraged that God opened this door for us and we are excited about the possibilities. Pray that the Lord will guide us all in the coming days in regards to opportunities. Again this is now seeing the working out of something which started a few years ago. God's time is perfect. Pray on for our contact with the Kenyan folk here in Northern Ireland as well. We have just been put in touch with a Kenyan lady who has already given us a lot of information which will be helpful to us in the near future and which is something we have been praying about for some time now. Also this past week we were blessed to share in our monthly meeting in the Nursing Home. God really helped and we pray that the residents and indeed the staff will be saved. Pray for us this week as we finalise anniversary meeting arrangements and put together and print the Order of Service; as we try to begin writing a prayer letter; as we prepare for a house meeting later in the week; as we prepare for a meeting in a Nursing Home next week; for William as he continues with some research regarding a future ministry and for the everyday administration which needs to be kept up to date. Pray that we will be clearly guided, strengthened and refreshed in the days to come. Again, may I remind you to RSVP if you are able to come to our anniversary service. We will be revealing some new ministries so please do attend if you can. ![]() What a blessed 10 years it has been. There have been good times and hard times, challenges and changes, but through it all God's call has remained and children have been saved. Please make every effort to join us to give thanks to God for all He has done and hear how He has been leading for the future. If you haven't already done so, you can use the RSVP form below to let us know you are intending to come. This would be very much appreciated and of great help to us. (Don't forget to continue reading the blog below the form!) Please pray for us as we continue to prepare for the anniversary meeting. There is still a lot to do. On that evening, we would like to bring you up to date on the total number of Bibles currently needed. We have already received final numbers from Joyce. Please pray for Eunice in our Nairobi office as she goes through the records once more to confirm her numbers.
Both ladies currently have a lot of marking. In particular, Joyce is very busy at the moment finishing marking lessons. The academic year is coming to a close and many children are moving on to new Schools. It is important that lessons are completed. There are also a number of centres which require a visit from Joyce this month. As yet, she has not been able to travel due to lack of funds for transport. Please pray that God will provide and enable her to travel. This is very important. Thank you for remembering the AGM with our Kenyan friends. We thank God for friendships we have made and for our involvement. After much prayer, and discussion with William over the past few months, I had felt that I wouldn't be standing for re-election to the committee. I enjoyed meeting up with the group on Saturday; but, in an unexpected turn of events, the Election of Officers was postponed until December. However, I felt that I needed to stand by my original decision and so I have stepped down from the Committee. William and I are still members of the group and look forward to doing our part and all we can to help the organisation in that capacity. Thank you also for praying for the meeting we were speaking at with a view to a more long term outreach. It went really well and we thank God for His help. We are now just praying over everything and waiting on some more feedback and advice as to the next step. Pray that we will be guided very clearly and know the mind of God in this venture. Pray for a meeting we are involved in tomorrow evening. William will be leading the service and has organised for a missionary to come and speak. I will be playing the organ and thank God that I can help in this way. In a few days William and I will be taking a children's meeting in a local Church. Whilst preparation for the anniversary service has advanced this week quicker than we had anticipated; which is good; preparation for the children's meeting has been slower. There is still quite a lot to do and we really would value your prayers that everything falls into place. Also this week we have our monthly meeting in the Old People's Nursing Home. A message needs to be prepared for that. Also, as of last month, we are now pre-recording our singing and music. This means we have a lot less equipment to bring to the meeting with us. Once all of our music sheets are recorded it will mean less work for us; but, until that time, we have to spend time doing the recordings. We aren't quite sure when this will fit in this week, but we ask you to pray regarding it. A few years ago we were put in contact with someone here with a view to possible ministry. Due to various circumstances, only a few emails were exchanged and we never actually met. Recently, contact has been renewed and we are looking forward to meeting with him this week to discuss various issues and also to see some of the work he is involved in. If this opens up we will share more with you, but for now, please do pray that God will lead and guide concerning this. The month of October and the beginning of November are totally booked out. We have had to turn down meetings and other ministry opportunities, simply because the calendar is full. From now until the first week in November we have only 1 evening per week "free". Free as in nothing programmed in as yet but very much full as there is so much preparation to do. There is also a Gospel Mission being held in our Church which we would hope to attend on those "free" evenings, but unfortunately it will be limited due to the number of bookings we had taken before we knew about the mission. Next task today is to try and get our postal invitations out for the anniversary. Pray that it will be possible to get this completed quickly and efficiently. Finally, yesterday we submitted our application to the charity commission. Thank you so much for praying for us as we put together the information needed. Please pray that this will all go through without any problem. While it is hard to miss out on things and to have to say "no" at times.... it is also encouraging and exciting that we have so many opportunities to serve God. Thank you for praying for us. We trust you will continue to stand with us. As a follow up to last week's blog we are really happy that our new system for those studying our Child Protection Course has worked really well. So far, only one student has been moved over to the new system, but we are pleased with the progress so far. The student was able to receive his marked assignments and the next one to complete via a private page on our website. He has also been able to complete his next assignment and upload it back to the site for us to receive. We thank God for His help in this very practical way and trust that other students will also find it an easy and beneficial system as we slowly migrate them over. It has been a week of working on our website. We have been asked numerous times lately if it is possible to sign up for regular giving via our website. So, in response to these requests we have spent quite a number of hours working on the website and this facility has now been made possible. The page for signing up to support us by Direct Debit also has the option to make a one off gift. It is also possible to select to Gift Aid your donation. As this is new, we have a link from our home page or you can read all about it by clicking HERE. The system has been tested and this morning our first supporter; using this method; has signed up. They have said it was very easy to use and we appreciate their feedback. If you don't already support us on a regular basis (eg. monthly) we would encourage you to do this. It really helps us and makes planning so much easier. Even small amounts like £5 a month really do make a difference. By using the online system, you can sign up for the amount and frequency of your choice and select the very day you would like to give. It really is a simple process which helps more than we can explain. If you are already supporting us by Standing Order, there is no need to change to this unless you prefer to do so. We thank God for His provision through another month. Praise God our rent for the Nairobi office has been sent today on time. We also have the rent for our Malaba office and it will be transferred by the end of the week. We do, however, really need funds for transport to enable both Eunice and Joyce to travel to ministries. This is essential. We are also in need of application forms to be printed as a matter of urgency....these are costing £96 for 500 or £154 for 1000. Quite a number of centres have expressed their wish to enroll children and are waiting now on these forms. Please help with this need if you feel led to do so. Otherwise please do pray for God's provision. We thank God for more children enrolled this past week. One Pastor who we met at a seminar in July in Kenya, is really keen to use our lessons in Schools and we were really encouraged to hear this week of 100 children now registered. He is awaiting feedback from another Principal. Please pray that he will find good favour as he visits these Schools and seeks to gain entrance to share the Word of God. This week we will join with the Kenyan Association here in Northern Ireland for their AGM. William and I are both members and have been involved for a few years; with myself currently being a committee member. Pray that all involved will know help in preparation for the meeting and that God will be glorified in everything which will be discussed. We would also ask you to pray for another meeting we have this week. An idea was put to us quite a number of months ago and we have been praying regarding the possibility of this new ministry. We discussed it with our team while in Kenya and have been planning quite a bit since then. This week, we will be having our first "exploratory" meeting. We are reluctant to say much more at this stage; simply because it is "exploratory". However, if all goes well, which we hope it does, we trust this will be the start of something quite exciting; and something which we will be able to share more about at our anniversary meeting at the end of October. Please pray that God will undertake in every aspect of this meeting and that we will very clearly know His leading regarding decisions which need to be made. Finally, it is October..... so our Anniversary meeting to give thanks for 10 years of Feed my Lambs is coming soon. We are expecting to receive our printed invitations within the next few days. Do please pray for us as we distribute these. We would love you to come. For catering purposes it would be helpful if you could let us know if you plan to attend. For this purpose, please feel free to use the RSVP form below. The meeting is at 8pm on Friday 28th October in The Baptist Centre, (Brownstown Hall), Brownstown Road, Portadown, BT62 4EB. It would be wonderful to see you. Many thanks again for standing with us in the place of prayer. Thank you for your prayers throughout another week.
Pray on for Eunice in our Nairobi office. She had a fall recently and was injured; though not seriously. She is doing well now, but appreciates you continuing to remember her. Pray for her as she begins to use some new record sheets. Pray that she will be able to adjust to the new system. Joyce has been using this system for a while now and finds it helpful. After discussion with our team regarding our Nairobi office, it was decided that we would produce a flyer/leaflet which included a small map of the location of the office. Addresses in Kenya are different to here in Northern Ireland. We have a post box for our mail; but then people will use landmarks and road names to guide visitors to the physical location. So, in order for us to produce such a leaflet; a friend of ours took a motorcycle on Monday and traced the route; marking down roads and landmarks etc. We hope this will be available in the near future. We have quite a lot of items being designed and updated at the minute which will need printing as soon as possible in Kenya. We thank God for gifts received in recent days, but do please pray that funds will be available to process all of these very necessary projects. They include application forms for our lessons, certificates and other items. We are thankful for help in compiling everything for the printer and look forward to receiving the proofs and being in a position to have them put into circulation. Technology makes communication with Africa so easy these days. Website, email, texts, calls, facebook....they all help. What's app is especially good as it allows a number of us to communicate between here and Africa and discuss things together. Of course we also have our email course, which currently focuses on Child Protection. However, whilst the email course has been very straightforward with people in Kenya and indeed in other countries; it has often been slightly more complicated with Ugandan people. For some reason they seem to have trouble receiving the assignments. We can't seem to get to the bottom of whether our mails are going into spam for some reason, but it has happened again a few times of late so we thought it was best to look at another option. So, we have worked on our website and have managed to create a private members section. Students will be able to access their own private page. On this page they will be able to download and upload assignments and view those which have already been marked. We are also able to communicate with students via the web page and give them feedback on their assignments. This is very much in the trial stages at the moment. All tests have been successful and today we have just sent it out to one student to try. We are waiting patiently on some feedback. Although the set up involves some extra work each time a new student begins the course, we hope it will make for a better system in the long run. We are also thinking of other ways in which this system could be used and appreciate prayer for this. Two years ago today William and I were in Kenya. It was a day of mixed emotions. We remembered how my dad had passed away exactly one year before; we looked back and remembered his part in the work of FML. We really needed God's help on that first trip without him. But, we also celebrated our marriage with our dear friends in Kenya and we looked forward to continuing to serve God together. Today, 3 years since Dad died and 2 years since our Kenyan wedding celebration, we are again filled with mixed emotions as we remember. We thank God for memories and past blessings; but we continue to look ahead, to service for God and a special reunion one day with dad, and; for William; to meet my mum for the first time...something he has said to me many times. This past week has been so encouraging. It has been great to discuss new ministries with Joyce and Eunice. Technology makes communicating even easier than when we started 10 years ago. We thank God for the work these ladies are doing and for the input they have into the ministry. We thank God for being able to discuss with them and make decisions together.
Joyce is making plans to visit 4 new centres next month to engage with them regarding our materials. We thank God for her vision and pray that the Lord will provide for her to travel to these places. One particular ministry she will visit is quite a distance away and she will very much appreciate your prayers as she prepares and travels. The number of Bibles currently needed in Uganda stands at 1048. Please pray that God will provide these. Pray for Eunice as she also continues with ministry in Nairobi. As she is relatively new to the role, she doesn't travel just as far as Joyce. However, we pray this will be possible in the future. Discussions in July when we met with the ladies led to the conclusion that a period of practical training; for Eunice, with Joyce; would be very beneficial to her in regard to teaching the children. Pray that she will be able to travel to Malaba in the near future. One Pastor who has been a great help in the work of FML is Pastor Samuel. He is based in Jinja in Uganda and marks many of our lessons. He has been a good help to Joyce. He will be getting married in November and we ask you to pray that God will bless him and his fiancee as they plan over the coming weeks. Pray that God will guide them and bless them in their future together. William has been very busy working away this past week. Much of his practical work on a daily basis, not only provides an income for us, but also gives him added experience and teaches him new skills which he is currently able to use in Africa and which is providing a good foundation for future ministries which are being prayed about, discussed and planned. We thank God for how He has been opening doors and guiding in this regard. The Lord helped William as he shared a message from Psalm 23 at the Old People's Nursing Home yesterday. We thank God for around 11 residents who stayed for the entirety of the meeting and for a few others who came and went a little. They enjoyed the singing so much and especially enjoy the children's choruses. It reminds us of the importance of teaching children now. When older people become confused they often seem to go back to their childhood and remember things they were taught then. We look forward to returning next month. I thank God for helping me throughout the week in many administration duties and planning ministry. I had good communications with a friend in Kawangware in Kenya regarding a new ministry we are hoping to launch in January. We covered a lot of ground and he gave us a lot of information which was very helpful. My nephew was also very helpful in a very practical way in regard to this. It is amazing how a 12 year old can have more knowledge of technology than us adults and can be such a help in these situations. William and I also worked on another new ministry which will be launched very soon and were encouraged to receive very positive feedback from a brother in Kenya who we are working alongside in making this possible. We look forward to sharing more details in the very near future when some more details are confirmed. I knew the Lord's help as I taught a memory verse and the Bible Lesson of the Centurion's Servant at a children's meeting on Thursday night. Indeed the lesson proved to be a challenge to my own heart over the past few days; reminding us to have faith in the Lord. William and I were really encouraged to meet with a number of other mission workers during the week also and we believe this opportunity was very timely and has been of real help and benefit to us. We thank God for opening this door. We also had a very encouraging first evening at a missionary convention last night and thank God for people who have requested our prayer news and updates. We were also delighted to meet ladies who have been knitting for the children in Africa for quite a while now. We ask for your prayers for the remaining meetings. This past week we have also been booked to have our stand at yet another missionary convention (our 4th this year) later in the year. We were previously able to share at this particular convention and look forward to being with everyone again as well as taking the Sunday School once more during the weekend. God is good. So, it has been quite a busy, varied, eventful and encouraging week. We thank God for how He has led, provided and spoken to us. In the midst of the encouragements, this week also brought difficult decisions and we thank God for His speaking voice, His guidance and His peace to our hearts. Thank you once more for praying for us. This is the most important thing you can do and it is certainly never time wasted. And finally, one of many reminders I will leave with you regarding our 10th Anniversary meeting in Portadown on Friday 28th October. Please keep a note of the date and plan to attend. It would be encouraging to see you. |
